You have several options to consider when making overnight accommodations for Family Orientation. You may pay to stay in an on-campus residence hall or make an off-campus reservation at a local hotel. NOTE: Housing is NOT included in any of the new student fees that cover Orientation programs.
Reservations in Avent Ferry Complex are available to you if you are traveling to Raleigh and need space to sleep on campus during your student’s orientation session.
If you have additional questions regarding on-campus housing, please review answers to frequently asked questions or reach out to the Conference Services office at 919.515.4398 or guestservices@ncsu.edu.
Please make sure that the family member (not the student) is the one who fills out the form and that you are not using an ncsu.edu email address.
On-campus housing for families is not available during the August Orientation or International Orientation sessions occurring August 14-16. Alternatively, you can find a list of area hotels that offer discounts to NC State family members on the Parents and Families Services website.
